Thank look no further, we currently have two roles available within the team. 

We are looking to recruit a Community & Workplace Development Officer (40 hour full time post)

The Community and Workplace Development Officer will engage with local organisations and groups, especially focusing on areas of high health inequalities, to promote developing and sustaining a healthier lifestyle. The community development aspect of the role includes arranging promotional events and activities in the community, supported by volunteer Health Champions, visiting organisations including GP surgeries to encourage referrals into the Lifestyle Referral Hub. The workplace element to the role will include identifying workplaces within Leicester that will commit to creating a healthier working environment for employees.


We are also recruiting for a Lifestyle Referral Hub Advisor (40 hours full time post) 

Parkwood Healthcare are recruiting for a Lifestyle Referral Hub Adviser to join our team in Leicester, the role will involve :

  • Triage of clients by following established referral criteria, pathways, policies and procedures to ensure that they are referred onto the most appropriate health and wellbeing support service to meet their needs

  • Working with the Hub Supervisor to ensure calls are completed for all contracts in a timely manner in accordance to service specifications

  • Ensure that all enquires are addressed within specified time frames

  • Completing follow up review calls with service users

  • Have updated local knowledge of services that the hub refers to including inclusion and exclusion criteria


We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to help our team deliver the service across Leicester.  Ideally you will be a car owner and resident of Leicester. Full training will be given to the successful applicant but previous experience of community engagement and/ or health improvement will be an advantage. The working hours will be between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 2pm on Saturdays on a rota basis
